Keep Thanksgiving Simple This Year With My Easy Dinner Menu

I know you are looking for a Thanksgiving dinner menu that will be as simple as possible.
The thing is, Thanksgiving dinner is rarely going to be an easy dinner if you are cooking for a crowd.
The less people you have to cater for, the less you'll have to do on the day.
No matter how many people you have, you can take most of the work out of the day by planning ahead, and by preparing as much of the food ahead of time as is possible.
Now, you can buy a lot of stuff pre-made if you want. Everyone will agree that busy people need to cut corners wherever they can.
BUT, it's just not going to taste as good as your own home cooked recipes.
So make as much as you can ahead of time before you get too busy.
The recipes for dinner listed below are a mix of do-ahead and do-on-the-day recipes.
I've marked them as follows:
- *** stars can be done 4 or more weeks ahead and frozen
- ** stars can be done 2 or 3 days ahead and stored in the fridge
- * star can be done the day before and finished on the day
