Start Making Your Thanksgiving Appetizers
Thanksgiving appetizers should be easy to make and easy to serve. After all, you have enough to be thinking about without fussing over the nibbles. You could delegate the supply of pre-dinner appetizers to one of your guests. And definitely don’t get caught up in the job of serving them out. Ask some of the older children to help.
But if you love to do them yourself, or if you are the one the task has been delegated to, then here are some ideas for tasty pre-dinner morsels to get you started:• Spicy nut mix• Vol-au-vents • Cheesy Sticks • Dips with crudités and crackers • Bite size pieces of quiche • Bite size pieces of frittata • Canapés of crackers topped with cheese, cold meats and herbs Here is an appetizer you can make ahead. Keep it in the fridge for a few days or in the freezer for months.
Its simple name of Cheesy Sticks doesn’t do the gorgeous taste and texture justice.
Here’s another appetizer you can make a day or two ahead. It’s a delicious dip and you can save time by serving it with shop bought bread sticks, crackers or crudités.
It’s called Artichoke and Bean Dip.
