Dinner IdeasWhat's For Dinner Tonight?It's a problem, isn't it? The times when I really find myself longing to order take out are not when I'm pressed for time. After all, it takes longer to get take-out than it takes to cook a simple meal. No, the real problems are when I'm just not inspired by any of the ingredients in my kitchen. That's when I need some inspiration and ideas to get enthusiastic enough to rustle something up. There's always something you can make. Here are some standbys I use when I'm not in the mood to cook, or when I'm due to shop and the pantry is looking seriously depleted.
Got Mince in the Freezer?
Thaw it thoroughly, if you're doing everything at the last minute as I usually am, then use your microwave (just follow your machine's instructions). All of these recipes are quick to make, and some are equally quick to cook. Just take note of the times on the recipes as a couple, like the meatloaf, will need a while to cook.
