Super Simple Appetizer For Christmas Or Thanksgiving

cheese and herb wafers

PREPARATION TIME: 5 MINUTES

COOKING TIME: 10 MINUTES

MAKES: 18

1 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, finely grated

3 teaspoons of herbs, finely chopped.
Use one or more of thyme, parsley, chives, oregano, or rosemary.

Preheat your oven to 350F.

Line two baking sheets with non-stick baking paper.

Toss the cheese and herbs together in a bowl.

Place 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture onto each of the trays. Smooth the edges up to form a tectangular shape. Don't fuss over it too much.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. It should be a light golden color and melted into a thin wafer.

Lift the baking paper off the tray so you can bake any remaining mixture you have.

Allow to cool on the baking paper and then break each wafer into rough shards.

Serve cold with drinks.

TIP:

Make ahead and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
