Perfect Christmas and Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipes



Apple and Pork Stuffing is perfect to use anytime of the year in turkey, chicken or rolled cuts of pork or lamb.

Use this recipe with Roast Turkey with Two Types of Stuffing.

Add it to your Christmas and Thanksgiving stuffing recipes for a perfect traditional roasted turkey.

PREPARATION TIME: 15 MINUTES

STANDING TIME: 15 MINUTES

MAKES: 5 CUPS

½ cup apple juice

4 thick slices of white bread, cubed

1 pound pork mince

2 crisp apples, peeled and diced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 egg, lightly beaten

salt and pepper to taste

Put the bread into a bowl and pour over the apples juice. Leave it to soak for 15 minutes or so.

Add the pork, apples, onion and herbs and mix well.

Add the egg and season the mix with salt and pepper to your taste.

This stuffing is suitable for use to stuff the breast and neck of a whole turkey or to use in a rolled breast.
